Frequently Asked Questions
Do you use third-party solutions to integrate with ERP systems?
We employ various methods to integrate systems. Primarily, we use MuleSoft as an integration bus to connect systems. Additionally, we support direct integrations using REST or SOAP APIs, which you can call directly or utilize your own integration bus. If you have an enterprise integration bus like MuleSoft or another, it can be used as well.
Is it true the Sitetracker can integrate with any ERP?
Absolutely, as long as there are available APIs. We have also integrated with some closed systems. If an API is not available, we can create a file-based integration. This method involves downloading data from your ERP nightly and using the file for uploads and downloads. While API integration is preferred, our Professional Services team can assist in working with closed systems.
Can Sitetracker connect to applications other than ERPs?
Yes, Sitetracker can connect to any system with REST or SOAP APIs. For closed systems, we offer file-based integration. This involves periodically importing and exporting data using files or FTPs. We can download data from Sitetracker and run batch processes to import it into a closed system, or export data from a closed system in formats like CSV or Excel and upload it to Sitetracker nightly. While API-based integration is preferred, we have solutions for closed systems as well. Additionally, because Sitetracker is built on Salesforce, we leverage their API capabilities to access any object within Sitetracker, ensuring comprehensive connectivity beyond just ERPs.
